Families affected by cardiomyopathy can find out more about the latest developments in treatment at an information day in Belfast in June.

The day, at the Park Plaza hotel, Belfast International Airport, BT29 4ZY, will look at dilated, hypertrophic and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, best treatments, new developments in care and latest research.

The speakers at the event on Saturday, June 23rd, will include top cardiomyopathy expert Dr Perry Elliott, a consultant cardiologist at the Heart Hospital in London.

Tracy Jardine, nurse specialist in inherited cardiac diseases at the Royal Group of Hospitals in Belfast,  will discuss living with cardiomyopathy

CMA chief executive Robert Hall will talk about the services the CMA provides for families affected by the condition. Patients, family members and friends are all welcome. See agenda

The special day, from 9.30am to 5pm, will also provide a relaxed, informal atmosphere in which to meet others living with the condition.  It is free to attend, but those who wish to have lunch at the hotel are asked to pay a contribution of £10 per person.

If you wish to attend please fill in and return the registration form, call the office on 01494 791224 or email Sarah Dennis at the CMA.
