Families affected by the condition can find out more about it, best treatments, new research and lifestyle issues.
The day, at the Park Plaza hotel, Belfast International
Airport, BT29 4ZY on Saturday June 23rd, will look at dilated, hypertrophic and arrhythmogenic
right ventricular cardiomyopathy.
The speakers will include top cardiomyopathy expert Dr Perry Elliott, a
consultant cardiologist at the Heart Hospital in London.
Tracy Jardine, nurse specialist in inherited cardiac diseases at the
Royal Group of Hospitals in Belfast, will discuss living with
cardiomyopathy
CMA chief executive Robert Hall will talk about
the services the CMA provides for families affected by the condition.

special day, from 9.30am to 5pm, will also provide a relaxed, informal
atmosphere in which to meet others living with the condition. It is
free to attend, but those who wish to have lunch at the hotel are asked
to pay a contribution of £10 per person.
