The Oxford University Air Squadron has supported the Cardiomyopathy Association, as their chosen charity since 2007. The squadron provides Oxford University students preparation for careers in the RAF. The squadron decided to support the CMA following the sudden death of the sister of one of their squadron cadets. Squadron members have been very active in raising funds through various activities, including 5 members running in the 2008 Great North Run, and rasied several thousand pounds for the CMA. They have also been very active in help to raise awareness of cardiomyopathy and the work of the CMA. To find out more about the Oxford University Squadron visit their website
