The concert, which featured mostly classical music, was held at St Mary's Church, St Mary's Road, Ealing.
The stars included saxophonist Josie Simmons (pictured), BAFTA award-winning composer and pianist Christopher Gunning, opera singer Neil Latchman and organist Tyrone Whiting.
They were joined by pianist Yoshiko Endo, violinist Tomoko Sasaki, clarinettist Andrew Lyle and the quintet Vocalease. Items being performed include Christopher Gunning’s Poirot Variants, Darius Milhaud’s suite for violin, clarinet and piano, and Stanislao Gastaldon’s Musica Proibita.
All money raised from the concert went to the Cardiomyopathy Association.
The CMA is now drawing up plans for its 2009 concert programme.
