Families affected by cardiomyopathy can find out more about the latest developments in treatment at an information day in Basingstoke, Hants in February.
The day, at the the Holiday Inn, Grove Road, Basingstoke, RG21 3EE, will look at dilated, hypertrophic and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy, best treatments, new deveopments in care and latest research.
The speakers at the event on Saturday, February 25th, will include top cardiomyopathy expert Dr Perry Elliott, a consultant cardiologist at the Heart Hospital in London.
CMA chief executive Robert Hall will talk about the services the CMA provides for families affected by the condition. Those affected by the condition, family members and friends are welcome. See agenda.
The special day, from 9.30am to 4.30pm, will also provide a relaxed, informal atmosphere in which to meet others living with the condition. It is free to attend, but those who wish to have lunch at the hotel are asked to pay a contribution of £10 per person.
