A five-a-side football tournament held at Derby County Football Club’s training ground on Friday night raised £449 for the CMA.
Twelve teams took part in the evening, organised by CMA supporter Kev Roome and Leni Smith, PA to the director of finance at Derby City Primary Care Trust.
Winners were the Mean Machine (pictured above), captained by Kevin who was presented with a trophy by CMA chief executive Robert Hall.
Most of the teams came from the local health service, but the football club also put in a team, which included club chairman Thomas Glick. Also present was the club’s mascot Rammie the Ram (pictured with Robert).
Other members of the winning team were Liam Drake, Stephen Morris, Kev Ollerenshaw,
Chris Madden, John Crooks.
