The CMA's first ebay auction, to celebrate the charity's 20th birthday, has raised more than £5,200.

More than 40 items were sold in the online auction, most going to buyers in the UK.  But the Howards End film script is going to America and the Paul Lawrie polo shirt to Germany.

The item attracting the highest bid was the day on the filmset of ITV's Marple which went for £730.  Lunch with talkSPORT's Mike Parry and Andy Townsend went for £620.

Two quilts, hand-made by a CMA supporter, each fetched £500.  Theo Walcott's signed boots went for £343 and the England rubgy shirt went for £310.

The private pleasure flight made £250,  the Jonny Wilkinson ball £235 and two nights' bed and breakfast in Cornwall £205.

CMA chief executive Robert Hall said: "We are very grateful to everyone who generously supplied items for the ebay auction, and everyone who took part in the bidding."

Plans are now being discussed for a similar ebay auction in 2010.
