The CMA holds regular information days around the country for its members.
Top cardiomyopathy experts from the Heart Hospital in London talk about each of the main types of cardiomyopathy - hypertrophic, dilated and arrhythmogenic right ventricular - and members can ask questions.
The speakers also cover latest treatments and research, and CMA staff talk about the work of the association and how members can help.
Those who attend also get the chance to meet and talk to others with cardiomyopathy.
The all-day meetings are held on Saturdays all over the UK. Remaining meetings for 2009 are at the Hallam Conference Centre, Hallam Street, London W1W 6EJ on Saturday, September 19th, and the Alverton Manor, Truro, on Saturday, November 7th. More details of these will be announced shortly.
CMA members are sent an invitation to all information days in their areas. If you are not a member and would like to attend one, call the CMA on freephone 0800 0181 024 or email info@cardiomyopathy.org .
