The group, set up by CMA trustee Bob McConnachie and supporters John and Margaret Herriott, had its first meeting in Elgin in April 2008. The group is now run by CMA members Ian McCulloch, his daughter Joanne, Cath Fitzgerald and Mary Strachan.
Meetings are held periodically on Sunday afternoons 1pm to 3pm in the boardroom of the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Foresterhill, Aberdeen AB25 2ZN. The date of the next meeting will be Sunday, February 26th. The meeting will be an informal meeting to allow you to discuss your own experiences and to listen to other's experiences.
Those affected by the condition and their families and friends are welcome to attend. The group aims to provide people with more information about cardiomyopathy and the chance to meet others who are affected.
