CMA supporter Suzanne Kelsey has compiled a poetry book to raise money for the CMA.
Suzanne, who has dilated cardiomyopathy, is selling the book “Out of the blue” for £7.50.
The book includes her own poems and that of others she has met through the CMA.
Suzanne has produced other poetry books in the past and raised over ÂŁ5,000 for charity.
She said: “After getting over my original cardiomyopathy crisis and recuperating I knew I would have to give myself an outer positive focus as my self-confidence had taken a battering.
“I decided to show my gratitude for the wonderful care I received from my cardiology team at my local hospital and dedicated myself to fundraising for their new heart centre. I returned to my love of poetry and started writing again – and couldn’t stop.
“Now due to the wonderful support I have had from the CMA, I decided my next project would be to produce a book specifically for them.
Suzanne has dedicated the book to Yasmina Sugliano who died aged 25 from cardiomyopathy and cystic fibrosis.
She said: “Each piece is heartfelt and sincere, and I am sure will be of benefit to those suffering from cardiomyopathy, especially the newly diagnosed and those who need reassurance and support."
