CMA member Matt Erlanger is holding a fundraising beetle drive later this month to support the CMA.
He is holding the popular beetle game near Stratford on Avon on Sunday, September 27th at 6pm and is inviting other supporters to join him.
It is a simple fun game that needs a pencil, a piece of paper and die. Playing in tables of four each player must roll a six to start their game, by drawing the beetle’s body, and then roll each of the numbers one to five to draw the remaining beetle parts.
The first to person to draw a complete beetle calls out ‘Beetle’ and ends the round. Players add up their points and the highest scorer of each table rotates to play with a new group of players. The winner of the evening is the player who has drawn the highest number of complete beetles or gained the highest overall point score.
Tasty nibbles will be provided but beetle drivers are invited to bring their own drinks. There will also be a raffle.
The event is being held at Pillerton Priors Village Hall, Warwickshire, CV35 0PG. Entry is £3 per player .
