The Cardiomyopathy Association actively campaigns for improved services for families affected by cardiomyopathy. Some improvements have been achieved in recent years following the publication of the National Service Framework chapter on Arrhythmia & Sudden Death, however, there is still much work to do.
You can help us by writing to your M.P. or Assembly representative highlighting the need for improved specialist services to provide effective treatment for cardiomyopathy.
You can also get involved in your local Cardiac Network through the Patient, carer and public involvement (PCPI). This provides the essential patient voice from those who have first-hand experience of cardiac services.
