Twenty supporters ran the asics British 10k London Run yesterday (Sunday, July 11th) to raise money for the CMA.

The team, who endured temperatures reaching 30 degs C, were among around 25,000 runners, including top athletes, celebrities and fun runners from 500 British charities, celebrating the run’s 10th anniversary.

Well over £5,000 has already been pledged by the CMA runners.

CMA chief executive Robert Hall, who attended the run to cheer on CMA participants, said: “It was a great effort by all our runners and we are most grateful to them.”  For more pictures of the runners click here.

The route is from Hyde Park along Piccadilly to Pall Mall and the Embankment, passing close to landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Tate Modern and Tower Bridge.

Next year the run takes place on Sunday, July 10th.
