The Sussex Cardiomyopathy Support Group usually meets at St Martha's Church Hall, Sea Road, Little Common, Cooden, Bexhill-on-Sea.
The group, which meets four times a year, was set up by (pictured) CMA member Ray Harston, heart failure nurses Jo Barrett from the Conquest Hospital, Jules Grange from Eastbourne District Hospital and Toni de Freitas from the local cardiac network. It is also supported by cardiologist Dr Hugh McIntyre from the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
The group meets around four times a year. Meetings are usually held on a weekday evening at 7.30pm. Those affected by the condition and family members and friends are welcome to attend.
Dates of future meetings
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 30th, 7.30pm at St Martha's Church Hall. Consultant cardiologist Dr Hugh McIntyre will talk about the NICE guidelines on heart failure.
