The Wessex Cardiomyopathy Support Group is run by CMA member and retired GP Michael Watson.
The group meets periodically, usually during the afternoons at the Barrington Centre (formerly Ferndown Community Centre) at Penny's Walk, Ferndown, Dorset BH229TH. But some meetings are held in Dorchester.
The next meeting is on Wednesday, October 27th, at 2 pm, when the main speaker will be Kay Elliott, arrhythmia nurse specialist at Dorchester County Hospital. Her talk is entitled: Heart Rhythms and Implantable Devices. There will also be questions, a general discussion, tea, sandwiches and cake.
This meeting will be held at the Dorset Youth Association Hall, Lubbecke Way, Dorchester DT1 1QL. There is a large car park behind it, the entrance after the building itself.
