A new support group for Wiltshire and Hampshire was launched by CMA member Gilbert Wheeler in June 2008.
The new group had its first meeting at the Memorial Hall, The Borough, Downton, Salisbury, SP5 3NB when 30 people attended.
The next meeting is on Tuesday, November 25th, 2pm, Whiteshute Room, Badger Farm Community Centre, Badger Farm Road, Winchester, SO22 4QB.
The main speaker will be CMA chief executive and medical director Robert Hall on latest treatments and research and how supporters can help the CMA.
Gilbert said: "The group aims to provide families affected by all types of cardiomyopathy with more information about the condition, lifestyle issues and a chance to meet others similarly affected."
