Some of the world’s top pool players are taking part in a pool and snooker extravaganza being held to raise money for the CMA.
Professionals Ian Kettel, Jordan Church and Ian Hubbard (pictured from left to right) are competing against all-abilities in the competition at Chatham Pool and Snooker Club in Military Road, Chatham, Kent in June.
All three are in the top 40 world players, with both Ians having been in the top four. Ian Kettel won the 2007 World Masters Championship, Jordan Church was runner up in the 2008 competition and England player Ian Hubbard is the winner of five world team titles.
Former Scotland player William Anderson (pictured on far right) has organised the competition in memory of his brother Kirk who died aged 23 from cardiomyopathy.
The event, from Friday, June 12th to Sunday, June 14th, will include singles, doubles, three man and five-man tournaments.
William said: “It will be a fun event. In the three man and five-man tournaments, teams will be of mixed abilities. So novices will get a chance.”
