Get involved in the #MyHeartStory campaign

There are lots of ways you can get involved in our #MyHeartStory campaign, whether it is sharing your experiences, talking to your doctors or following us on social media.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the common symptoms of cardiomyopathy, encourage people to look at their own family history of heart conditions, and to highlight the common misdiagnosis of cardiomyopathy.

There are lots of ways to get involved, whether you have a little time or lots of time to spare

We are looking for volunteers who would like to help us deliver the campaign. Whether you have cardiomyopathy, or know someone with the condition, we would like to hear from you if you have some time to spare. If you are interested in becoming a campaign volunteer please fill in the form and tell us how you can help.

Please note:

  • if you are interested in sharing your experiences with us or with the media, we will give you guidance on how to do this;
  • if you are under 16 years of age we will need consent from your parents for you to get involved; and
  • please be aware that if we receive a large number of requests to help we may not be able to accept everyone as a volunteer. However, we will contact you to let you know if this is the case.

If you have any questions regarding volunteering email Ali Thompson, Head of Services, or call 01494 791 224.
