Share your experiences about diagnosis, testing and speaking to your family about cardiomyopathy

We need you to share your story!

Two years ago we conducted  a national survey focusing on the experience of diagnosis and treatment for cardiomyopathy. We were overwhelmed by the number of responses we received and shocked to see how many people had been misdiagnosed. We used evidence from the survey to help inform a parliamentary inquiry into heart failure and to inform our own work with clinicians.

We now want to run another survey looking again at your experiences of diagnosis to see if there has been any changes since 2015 and to use these current figures for our national campaign. We also would like to know more about how you coped with your diagnosis so we can shape our services to better support people affected with cardiomyopathy.

Please get involved and take our survey here (opens new window).
