The event is being held at the Hallam Conference Centre, Hallam Street, London W1W 6JJ.
The speakers are top cardiomyopathy experts from the Heart Hospital in London. They include Professor William McKenna, Dr Perry Elliott and Dr Antonis Pantazis, all from the inherited heart diseases team.
Those affected by cardiomyopathy, family members and friends are welcome to attend.
There are separate sessions looking at the three main types of cardiomyopathy - dilated, hypertrophic and arrhythmogenic right ventricular - and talks on pregnancy in women with cardiomyopathy, a patient's experience of surgery to treat hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with obstruction, and an update on modern heart pumps used to treat people with advanced heart failure.
