The England hero started playing for his country in 1998 and his goal kicking was credited with being a major factor in the team’s 2003 World Cup win. He also holds the world record for the most drop goals (29) and the most world test points.
He also received the 2003 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award and was the 2003 International Rugby Board International Player of the Year.
