The club, which last month appointed Gordon Strachan to replace Gareth Southgate as manager, is one of the founding members of the Premier League but is currently playing in the Championship after being relegated last season. The club has played at the Riverside Stadium since 1995.
The club's highest league finish to date was third in the 1913-14 season and they have only spent two seasons outside of the Football League’s top two divisions.
