NICE seeking your views on getting patients and wider public more involved

2nd February 2017

NICE is looking at ways of getting patients and the wider public more involved in developing its medical guidance and standards.

NICE (the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence) decides which drugs and treatments are available on the NHS in England and Wales.

It is currently reviewing how it involves lay people (those not involved in health or social care) in its work and wants to hear your views.

The public consultation runs until 28 February.  For more details about the consultation and how to take part, see here.
