There are many ways you can raise awareness about cardiomyopathy and the work of the CMA.
These include:
- telling your cardiomyopathy story - such as on utube, to your local media, including newspapers and radio, or various other media including women's magazines, nursing magazines, and the CMA's own website and magazine to members CMA News
- campaigning for better services for cardiomyopathy patients by joining local patient and public involvement schemes, writing to your MP or joining a CMA regional committee
- giving a talk about the CMA and its work to local organisations. CMA talks on powerpoint are available
- displaying a CMA car sticker on your car or in other situations where the public will see it. For a car sticker (pictured), email the CMA's Anne Foster
If you would like to help raise awareness, contact the CMA's Sarah Dennis for more information.
