Ideas & Inspiration for your Celebration Lunch

With a Celebration Lunch, there are lots of ways to maximise your fundraising! Here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing...

If the sun's out...

- Play some traditional garden games like hoopla, boules, or croquet. Ask your guests to contribute a small donation to take part in a competition - offer up some prizes for the winners!

- Suggest a fancy dress theme - e.g. Hawaiian Holiday or Royal Ascot. Offer up some prizes for the best-dressed guests.

If you're lunching indoors...

- Play some traditional team games like charades, pictionary, or even create your own quiz! Offer up some prizes for the winning teams.

- Combine your lunch with a televised sporting event such as Wimbledon - ask your guests to contribute a small donation to take part in a sweepstake.

If you're lunching at the office/at school...

- Encourage your guests to try their hand at making one or more of the recipes - host a taste test competition during your lunch.

-Host a mini Olympics - the events can range from the traditional (100m) to the silly (welly wanging). Pit classes/departments against each other and offer up some prizes for the winning teams!

-Have a 'Soak the teacher/boss' station - guests contribute a small donation to try their hand at hitting their teacher/boss with items such as wet sponges and water balloons!

-Have a face painting table where guests can contribute a small donation to have their faces painted.

-Set up a Just Giving page so that people who are unable to attend can still contribute a donation.
