Keeping the faith - celebrating George Michael

Global superstar George Michael sadly passed away from dilated cardiomyopathy in December 2016.

❤25.06.63 – 25.12.16❤

On 25th June, we remember George's extraordinary musical talents and his generosity of spirit to charity causes close to his heart.

To mark this special week, Toby Bourke, gives an exclusive performance of 'Waltz Away Dreaming', the 1997 hit duet he had with friend, George Michael. We are enormously grateful to Toby for making this video to raise money for Cardiomyopathy UK, the charity supporting people with heart muscle disease, like George, which affects 1 in every 300 and is the main cause of sudden cardiac death in people under 30.

View the video and donate to help support people struggling to cope with cardiomyopathy at this difficult time. Thank you.

You Have Been Loved

On Tuesday 5 December the George Michael Tribute Band celebrated George's life and music with a tribute concert at St Michael's Church in Highgate. It was a fantastic evening of music and memories, and below are a few snapshots from the evening. Thank you very much to The George Michael Tribute Band for kindly supporting our work.

Lovelies Help

The Lovelies Help group have been fundraising for Cardiomyopathy UK as one of several charities in George's honour - holding online auctions for memorabilia to fundraise for us, and even running marathons! To date they've raised over £4,900 in George's honour.
