The Cardiomyopathy UK Raffle is licensed by the Gambling Commission under the Gambling Act 2005, with Chiltern District Council Ref 09/00129

All profits from the Cardiomyopathy UK raffle will be used to provide expert information and support to families affected by cardiomyopathy.

Terms and conditions

1) Your purchase of a raffle ticket from Cardiomyopathy UK is solely in accordance with the terms under which the Charity from time to time promotes its raffles.

2) All proceeds from the raffle go to Cardiomyopathy UK, Unit 10 Chiltern Court, Asheridge Road , Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 2PX. Registered charity number 1164263.

3) You represent and agree that;

  1. You are a resident of Great Britain
  2. You are 16 years of age or over
  3. You will not buy or purport to buy an entry to this lottery on behalf of anybody under the age of 16
  4. You will provide accurate entry information, including your name, personal address and telephone number and accept that it is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes as soon as they arise.

4) You agree that you shall not be entitled to receive any prize if you are unable to substantiate to the Cardiomyopathy UK (the Promoter) your representations under paragraphs 3 (a), (b) and (c) above.

5) You accept that the Cardiomyopathy UK Raffle is regulated by the Gambling Commission and that in certain circumstances we may be unable to provide refunds or replacements once you have purchased your raffle entries.

6) The prizes for the Cardiomyopathy UK Raffle are printed on the raffle tickets and are advertised on the Cardiomyopathy UK website www.cardiomyopathy.org. There are no alternatives to any prize and no interest is payable. Prizes will be paid by cheque and posted to the winners within 28 days. Entrants will be notified as to any change in the prize structure.

7) The cost of each ticket is £1. Players may purchase as many tickets as they like for themselves, and sell as many tickets to other supporters as they wish.

8) Any monies received after the closing date of 30 August 2017 will be treated as donation.

9) The first, second and third prizes of cash sums will be awarded to the first three winning tickets selected. 

10) Employees of the Cardiomyopathy UK are not permitted to enter the raffle themselves.

11) Cardiomyopathy UK may (without giving any reason or notice at its absolute discretion) decline to accept an application, cancel an existing subscription, or terminate or suspend its raffle.

12) The winning tickets will be drawn on 31 August 2016, and the winners will be notifiied by telephone shortly thereafter. They will then be announced on the Cardiomyopathy UK website www.cardiomyopathy.org.

13) No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication.

14) Cardiomyopathy UK is not responsible for any delay in bank payments.

15) If you purchase raffle tickets online and change your mind you may have a full refund within 14 days of making your purchase, up to the date of the draw.

16) Cardiomyopathy UK operates a Complaints Procedure which is available via the Cardiomyopathy UK website - www.cardiomyopathy.org

17) Cardiomyopathy UK's decisions made pursuant to the Rules shall, once made, be final and binding.
