Rallying support in the West Midlands

5th September 2016

On 18 September supporter Phil Wilson is organising the Heartbeat Vintage and Classic Rally at his home in Ironbridge in support of Cardiomyopathy UK.

Phil is a keen engineer and classic car enthusiast was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) some years ago, after contracting swine flu and pneumonia at the same time, but is determined not to let anything hold him back.

With the support of his local bike club and friends, Phil is organising a gathering of classic and vintage motorcycles and cars, ranging from 1925 to a couple that have just returned from the Classic TT in the Isle Of Man.

There will also be a blacksmithing demonstration, a WW1 artefacts display, model wheel wrights and Coracle making display (a small river craft dating back to the bronze age).

With his unusual displays and classic cars and bikes, it’s sure to be a great day out for the whole family.
