We're looking for helpline volunteers

13th October 2016

We are looking for Gateway volunteers on our dedicated helpline to be the first point of contact for people wanting support.

If you have time to give one morning, afternoon or evening a week to answer calls, give information and pass callers to our support nurses and peer support volunteers - we’d like to hear from you. Ideally you will have experience of volunteering, be flexible and reliable, and have excellent communication skills.

Our nurse helpline is one of our most vital services, providing direct support to people with cardiomyopathy whether they are newly diagnosed or have had cardiomyopathy all their life. Our helpline gateway volunteers are our first point of contact for many and will help ensure our callers get the correct support.
