Does health data sharing worry you?

16th September 2015

A London-based global charitable foundation dedicated to improving health is asking patients and their families what they think about different organisations getting hold of and using health data.

As more and more data is collected in the health service and in medical research about our health and our genetic information, the Wellcome Trust wants patients, their families and carers to tell them what they think about this.

The results of the research will inform policy conversations and be vital for increasing wider understanding of how patients view this area of debate.

So a daytime discussion group, run by the independent research agency Ipsos MORI, is being held on Wednesday, 21 October in central Sheffield from noon until 3pm. There will be regular breaks and refreshments. Participants will be given £60 as a thank you for their time and travel costs will be reimbursed*.

If you would like to take part or want more information about the research contact Stephanie Crowe by email or by phone on 0207 347 3008.
