September Stroll 2020

Join us for our first ever collective walk across the UK

Join Cardiomyopathy UK and take to your local woodlands, hills or even mountains this September to help us walk the collective distance across the United Kingdom.

We would like to find 150 walkers to collectively walk 500 miles in September. You can choose to walk on any day and via any route in September, as long as you adhere to government guidelines. Simply pick a location where you would like your walk to take place and set a date in September 2020.

It's really simple!

Our aim is to raise at least £4000 for this year's September Stroll and we are looking for 150 walkers to help us reach this. Our suggested donation is £20 per walker and our suggested distance is 1-3 miles per person. If you are more active, set yourself a higher goal throughout September and get your friends and family to sponsor you. Once you have done your walk, you can donate to our Just Giving Campaign Page and let us know how far you have walked in your donation comment - if you do not put a distance, we will mark your walk as three miles. Together we can watch the miles and donations rise to help us reach our £4000 target.

Where to walk?

You can find inspiration from researching local walking routes or by speaking with a nearby walking club for ideas and advice on the most appropriate routes for you. Please think about health and safety and social distancing when planning your route, ensuring you are keeping within government guidelines. Whether you're marching in memory of a loved one, supporting someone living with cardiomyopathy or simply walking to raise awareness, we're here to support you every step of the way.
