A PE teacher for over 30 years, Robbie was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy in 2018. He participated in a medical trial and was first introduced to Cardiomyopathy UK during his rehab. Sadly, no longer working, he volunteers as a service user with Comensus at UCLAN; supporting students and staff in the School of Sport and Health Sciences and as a Patient and Public Involvement lead at the Lancashire Cardiac Centre. Robbie is a family man, a member of the Lancashire and England Schools Rugby committees but has a passion for Welsh rugby. He looks forward to championing the CMUK cause.
