This support group, based in Liverpool & Ellesmere Port (alternating venues), is for people with any form of cardiomyopathy, their family members, friends and supporters. 

 

This group is run by volunteer Support Group Leaders Jenny (pictured left) and her mum Julie (pictured right). The group aims to provide a relaxed environment for people affected by cardiomyopathy and their families to hear from a variety of expert speakers and to meet others living with the condition.

Here on the right you can see Jenny and Julie celebrating the group's third birthday - complete with cake!

Thursday 7th May - 7pm - Online   

Speaker: Emma Cottington, Cardiomyopathy UK Wellbeing Manager.  

 

Future meetings:
  • Saturday 11th July - In-person
  • 2-4pm
  • Speaker: Jo McQueen, Heart Failure Nurse, Royal Sussex County Hospital & fellow Support Group Leader who will talk about heart failure and medications.
