We receive a high number of applications and limited places, so please provide as much detail as possible and we will be in touch over the coming months to update you.

Join #TeamCardio with your own place

If you're lucky enough to get a ballot place in the London Marathon 2023 we would love to have you as part of Team Cardio. Take on the 26.2 miles in a Cardiomyopathy UK vest and help individuals and families affected by cardiomyopathy. We'll be there to support you throughout with fundraising advice and training tips from our coach. You'll also be invited to our post-race reception in London.



“My brother’s condition is severe and although it is regularly monitored, he will need surgery before he turns 40. As a big sister you always feel it’s your job to fix things for your younger siblings, but I can’t fix this for him, so I’m doing the next best thing and raising money to support the work of those who can. That’s why I’m running the London Marathon for Cardiomyopathy UK.”
