Coffee & Catch Up

coffee & catch up

Grab a cuppa and your laptop and join other members of the Cardiomyopathy UK family for a relaxed, informal chat.

Coffee and Catch Up is a volunteer-led online session, giving people affected by cardiomyopathy a chance to connect with others in a friendly, informal setting. Each session is run by members of Cardiomyopathy UK’s trained Support Group Leaders (volunteer community) who volunteer their time to create a welcoming space for conversation and connection.

There’s no set agenda and no expectation to talk about cardiomyopathy. Just come along, have a natter and chat about whatever’s on your mind. Whether it’s gardening, football, cats or something completely different - if it’s important to you, it’s important to us!

The sessions are open to anyone with a diagnosis of cardiomyopathy or anyone affected by cardiomyopathy. This is an informal peer-support space led by volunteers, rather than a formal support group or professional advice session.

Our sessions are password-protected, and anything you share will be treated confidentially.

When do we meet?

  • Fortnightly on a Friday (2pm onwards)
  • Once a month on a Tuesday evening (7pm onwards)

Stay for the whole session, or for as long as you like.
